So another week beckons, another list of mini tasks for me to complete...
1) I am going to try and read A Suitable Boy (honestly)
2) Go Surfing (booked for Saturday)
3) Submit my novel, you know the one that I tried to submit over a year ago and has sat on my hard drive ever since, to Penguin, who are accepting unsolicited manuscripts until the end of October
4) Order some more books from the library - just 10 more to read now on the BBC Top 100 list
5) Appear on the radio again on Friday
So quite an easy week really, but hopefully one that will result in me ticking another task off my list.

Good luck with the surfing. My friend started surfing recently and he said he's never had so much fun ever despite him being totally rubbish! Where are you doing the surfing? Scarborough?
Thanks Tim and yes I'm going through the Scarborough surf school - I'm not very co-ordinated so I'm sure my husband will have lots of laughs at my expense!
Hey good luck and enjoy the surfing. You are braver than me, although I do like surfing the net.
Phil - can't decide whether I'm brave or stupid...!
Honestly how do you manage to fit it all in? ;-)
Thanks for the notes hun, was lovely to receive snail mail which I hadnt ordered as such lol!
Good luck for sat, and enjoy the reading. I am reading 'The Slap' by Christos Tsiolkas. Highly recomend it.
xx
Hi Kate - glad you got the parcel and hope they will be of some use to you - twitter has thrown me out for some reason so couldn't reply to your tweat! Unfortunately I'm unemployed at the moment, so I'm trying to use the free time I have to get down my list as much as possible. I've put The Slap on my book group list - we've just read The Other Hand by Chris Cleave and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold - both fantastic reads, if you haven't read them as yet.
