Totalling up my sponsorship monies (£270 + cash match)
Working out what I need to buy (fleece, waterproofs, maps, survival bag)
Thinking I must be a nutter to have voluntered to do all this in the first place
PS I didn't see 5:30 but I made 6am!

"Mmm, kids are playing out in the street again"
"Yep"
"It's about time we started to think about kids"
"Mmmm"
"Cos neither of us, is getting any younger"
The cheek!
But it made me think.....If I am fortunate to have children, then I am going to be an old Mum, I have no choice in that, but and it's a big but, I want just do a few more things off my list before I do. I want to go and work in Africa and tour America. I want to stand in Times Square on New Years Eve and I want to go to Ayres Rock on a Harley Davidson. It's that wrong to want to do this?
I'm now the proud owner of a cap and t-shirt from my place of work, as well as receiving confirmation that they will cash match my Ben Nevis sponsorship and no I couldn't contain myself either when I saw what was inside the package!

I need to still buy walking gear for my Ben Nevis Mountain challenge on June 1st. The sensible person in me, knows that this is a priority, above anything else on my list.
I rang the RSC in Stratford, as David Tennant is starring in this summer's production of Hamlet. Brilliant I thought, Hamlet is my favourite Shakespearean play, David Tennant is my favourite Dr Who, another tick off my list! Only problem is the tickets have been on sale since October of last year and it's a complete sell out. As there is nothing else I want to see this year, it looks like another task has to be put on the back burner for next year - bummer!
