Work is not good at the moment. There seems to be an atmosphere within our team. No big arguments are happening, but instead there are loads of niggling little snipes at one another. I don't like it. We used to be a real close knit team and got on well with one another, but we've had a couple of incidents that someone has decided to blow out of all proportion and therefore create something, that wasn't there before. I'm stressed. Not just because of this, but the whole New York/Japan scenerio and I don't feel right some how.
I haven't written for nearly a week, so I'm off to eat my chinese takeaway and do some writing of my novel, to try and cheer myself up. Hopefully things will get a little less stressful soon!

Sorry to hear that - there's usually enough to deal with work-wise without these kind of dynamics affecting everything. I have much work-related preoccupation at the moment: some of it good, some not so good - it's generally just a case of gritting the teeth and getting on with it. I wouldn't presume to know that that's the case with your situation, but I hope it all settles down soon enough.
What a shame you sound so down. Working for yourself is all very well except on days when you don't much fancy doing anything and you know you've got to knuckle down else the cash won't come in.
Having said that, I don't miss office politics in the least but I do miss showing everyone my holiday snaps, buying cakes on peoples' birthdays, that sort of thing.
Trousers - I'm hoping that it will all work itself out as well, though it doesn't help when people are constantly stirring things up and other people are too big for their boots! FF - even though I moan I guess I would miss all the things that happen as well in the office - I'm just so looking forward to my break away where ever it may be and then hopefully it will be different in the New Year.
